Elizabeth Ebueng, MD, is board-certified by the American Board of Family
Medicine and is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians.
Originally from California, Dr. Ebueng graduated from University of California,
Los Angeles with a B.A. in American Literature and Culture. She then received
her M.A. in Education and went on to earn her medical degree from American
University of the Caribbean School of Medicine in Saint Martin, Netherland
Antilles. She completed her residency in family and community medicine
at Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia, where she also
served as chief resident. Dr. Ebueng’s clinical experience includes
training at Hahnemann University Hospital and St. Christopher’s
Hospital for Children.
In addition to seeing her own patients at the North Wilmington office,
Dr. Ebueng serves as associate director of the Saint Francis Family Medicine
Residency Program where she enjoys helping train the next generation of
family physicians. She is a firm believer in shared decision-making and
patient education as a way to increase patients’ overall well-being.
As a physician, she strives to provide the highest quality, evidence-based
care for her patients in a compassionate manner. Her goal is to treat
patients how she would want her family to be treated.
