Please read below to learn more about the faculty of the St. Francis residency program.
Dr. Eberts graduated from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, and then completed a Family Medicine residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. He then spent time in West Virginia with the National Health Service, providing medical care in rural West Virginia. During this time, he was also a Clinical Assistant Professor of Family Medicine with Marshall University School of Medicine in Huntington, WV. Dr. Eberts spent more than a decade in private practice before joining the faculty at St. Francis Family Medicine. At. St. Francis, he serves as Director of the Family Practice Center.
Dr. Eberts has a Certificate of Added Qualification in Geriatrics and directs the geriatric education of the residents. He is medical director of Brackenville Care Center, where the residents learn nursing home care. Additional interests are adult well care and management of chronic disease in adults.
A 1985 graduate of Temple University, Dr. McDonough has a national reputation as an author and TV/radio personality, but St. Francis Hospital remains his home base for medicine. He is a graduate of the program, and received his Fellowship in Faculty Development from Temple University, where he also served as Vice Chairman of Family Practice and Community Health. In addition to his clinical duties, Dr. McDonough coordinates student rotations and supervises the preceptors.
He is the author of three books and serves on several committees for The Society of Teachers of Family Medicine, The American Medical Association and The Delaware Academy of Family Physicians. Dr. McDonough is on the Scientific Advisory Board for several leading internet education companies including MedCases, Reflective Learning and Cadient. His media honors include four Emmy awards and the Jules Bergman Award for Outstanding Medical Reporter. He has received many teaching awards including The Sir William Osler Award for Outstanding Bedside Teaching.
His hobbies include tennis and attending his children's various activities.
Dr. Hack, an assistant director, also serves as co-coordinator of Tiny Steps, the family practice obstetrical service. Dr. Hack graduated from Villanova University with a B.S. in Biology and completed his medical training at the University of Medicine and Dentistry Medical School in Newark, NJ. He completed his residency at St. Francis in 1999, earning the AAFP Resident Teaching Award, and elected to continue on as faculty. In addition to a busy practice at the Family Practice Center, he has also been director of House of Joseph II, a group home for homeless, end-stage HIV patients since 1999.
Dr. Hack's main interests include family-oriented maternity care, and curriculum development using evidence-based medicine. If he is not found tinkering around in his hot-pepper laden garden, he is with his wife and son.
Dr. Inguito is a graduate of Jefferson Medical College and trained at the Ghent Family Practice Residency Program in Norfolk, Virginia where he served as chief resident. In addition to his clinical practice, he trains residents in obstetrics, colposcopy, minor outpatient surgery and joint injections. Dr. Inguito has a great interest in medical regulation and serves on the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) Step 3 Test Material Development Committee.
He received an MBA from the University of Delaware Executive Program. Dr. Inguito is currently board certified in family medicine and is a clinical assistant professor at Temple University School of Medicine. He is an active member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American Medical Association, and the American College of Physician Executives.
Dr. Inguito is also the President of the Delaware Board of Medical Practice in addition he serves as the Federation of State Medical Board representative to the Accrediation Council of Continuing Medical Education (ACCME). Dr. Inguito was honored as the 2008-2009 Delaware Family Physician of the Year by the Delaware Academcy of Family Physicians.
Dr. Tribuiani is a 1996 graduate of Temple University School of Medicine. She completed her residency at St. Francis in 1999 and then joined the faculty. She is the Medical Director of The St. Francis Center of Hope, where she sees a predominantly Spanish-speaking population. Her areas of interest include family-centered maternity care, pediatrics, diabetes management and colposcopy. Dr. Tribuiani serves on the maternal and child care committee for the Medical Society of Delaware and is on the Board of Directors for the Sickle Cell Disease Association of Delaware.
Her hobbies include solving puzzles, listening to a wide variety of music, and spending time with her husband and son.
