At The Woman’s Place, a full-service gynecological practice affiliated with St. Francis Hospital, the focus is on you and your healthcare needs. Prompt appointments for exams, testing and treatment are made to work with your schedule. Whether you have a concern or a specific medical condition, you’ll be seen by one of our three experienced gynecologists whose #1 concern is providing professional, compassionate care.

If you’re looking for routine exams and screenings, or treatment for conditions such as heavy bleeding, menopausal symptoms or decreased libido, The Woman’s Place will treat you with sensitivity and consideration. With the recent addition of Waleed Shalaby, MD, PhD, we are now able to offer gynecological cancer services.

If you are pregnant or plan on becoming pregnant, we’re happy to refer you to one of our three caring OB/GYN practices at St. Francis Hospital.

	Dr. Molly McBride specializes in a holistic approach to menopause, PMS and decreased libido and offers a full range of outpatient surgical approaches to heavy, unwanted periods. Dr. McBride is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and received her medical degree from the Medical College of Pennsylvania. She completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
	Dr. Rachel Heinle is a graduate of Temple University School of Medicine, she completed her internship and residency at Christiana Care Hospital. Dr. Heinle provides all gynecologic services.  Prior to joining the staff at St. Francis, Dr. Heinle was in private practice in Wilmington.
	Dr. Waleed Shalaby earned his B.S. in chemistry and Ph.D. in pharmaceutical sciences from Purdue University.  He obtained his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina where he was named a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. His residency in Obstetrics/Gynecology and fellowship training in Gynecologic Oncology were completed at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
