In 1997, the St. Francis Foundation was created to launch a renaissance of new growth and momentum for the Hospital. Since then, with the generous support of our community, the Foundation has raised over $20 million to renovate and expand facilities, support critical outreach and prevention programs, add state-of-the-art equipment and technology, and bring advanced medical services to our community.
The Foundation has just completed a $17 million capital campaign that created one of the most advanced Heart Centers in the region, completely renovated and expanded the Emergency Department, and upgraded facilities throughout the Hospital.
Additionally, the Foundation raises approximately $600,000 each year to support critical outreach programs like the St. Clare Medical Van, Tiny Steps and the Center of Hope. To learn more about these programs click on Community Services.
St. Francis Hospital and Foundation are committed to bringing state-of-the-art medical services to our region, while remaining true to our mission of caring for the people in our community who need our help the most – the uninsured. In fact, the Hospital provides over $9 million in free healthcare services each year to thousands of people who are underserved and uninsured. That is why your support is so important.
