Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

ACLS emphasizes the importance of basic life support CPR to patient survival; the integration of effective basic life support with advanced cardiovascular life support interventions; and the importance of effective team interaction and communication during resuscitation.

 

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

For:

Healthcare providers who respond to emergency situations and who are proficient in cardiac rhythm recognition. The course is designed for medical providers such as physicians, nurses, emergency medical technicians, paramedics, respiratory therapists, and other professionals who may respond to a cardiovascular emergency.

Initial Certification: 2 day course

For people who are obtaining ACLS certification for the first time, or whose certification has expired.

Cost: $200 for both days which includes the cost of the book.

ACLS Textbook - Cost: $ 28 for employees
Emergencies in Cardiovascular Care Handbook - Cost: $14

Course requirements:

Completed ACLS Pre-Course Assessment printed from textbook CD with a score of at least 80%. Print certificate of completion and bring it to class.

When:

Two-day classes: (Attend both days) 8:00 am until 4:30 pm

Current BLS for Healthcare Provider Certification. Bring card to first day of class.

Recertification Course: 1 day course

For people who are renewing current ACLS certification. Your certification must not be expired on the day you begin the class. Please bring a copy of your current card to the class with you.

Cost: $100.00 which includes the cost of the book.
